Open N26 For Dual EU Citizen

Hi,
I’m looking to get a commission-free EU bank account, I was thinking about N26.
I’m a dual citizen of Israel and Portugal, residing and paying tax in Israel.

I have a friend in Netherlands that I can put his address in the N26 registration.

  1. Should I identify myself as a Portugal or Israel citizen when they ask for proof of ID? Is there any difference? (I reside and pay taxes in Israel) I do NOT have a NIF in Portugal if that’s an issue.
  2. Can I change the address to Israel later and re-ship the debit card?
