Does anyone have any experience in using a Self-Directed Individual Retirement Account (IRA) to invest in the Optimize Golden Opportunities Fund?

I have completed my investment with Optimize using my Self Directed IRA and no LLC. The key factor from the SDIRA side was that the fund is Not Publicly Traded, thus the investment could be made directly. It was important on the Optimize side that the wire transfer included my full name as it appears on their account/GV application. By Fund Manager, you mean the fund manager on the Portugal side for example the fund manager of Optimize (as opposed to the self directed firm on the home country side?

I am currently going through the process with IRA Financial.

I am currently moving funds in to proceed with the investment but have not completed it yet. There is a decent amount of paper work and I have needed a few calls to get to this stage.

We got overwhelmed with the paperwork and all the fees. Plus there is a huge backlog.
So for now have decided not to proceed with the golden visa application.
