in order to a a credit card or US bank account with a US address or I lease a property or I use this service https://www.virtualpostmail.com/pricing/truresidence/ (if it works at all). Since truresidence is crazy expensive, do you know an alternative? Best thing is to have parents of relatives in the US, I have none.
I have heard of people establishing residence in South Dakota, not state tax…then get a PO box? worth looking into.
Yes there are several state without state tax, but renting a house in order to have a US bank account is too much for me, unless a person really need a US bank account otherwise cannot do any business at all, it is not convenient
It seems you believe that you have to have a residence in the US in order to have a us credit card or bank account?
I use traveling mailbox as my physical and mailing address for chase, citi and capital one credit cards. I have American express credit cards too, and Amex asks for a physical address, which I give them, as I have a residence in the US.
But I believe I could give them any random physical address and they’d be happy with that.
You’ll likely need a credit profile in the US to open any sort of financial account, but based on my experience, a “real” physical address isn’t a requirement for several banks credit cards.
With my virtual (residential) address I could not open any account or credit card. I found Alliant Credit Union, but you need to use a foreign address or a real US address. You probably opened your accounts were it was easier and you could have used a virtual address and you are saying that you reside in the US.
