If you/your representative can’t reach AIMA to reschedule (likely the case), then at least heed this advice…

Missed Biometric Appointment

This strategy won’t help you after the fact, but for anyone expecting to miss their Bios in future. Have your lawyer/etc. attend your appointment anyway, where at least they’ll be guaranteed (barring strikes, computer issues, something interesting on TV, etc.) at least 5-10 minutes of a real AIMA staffer’s attention to plead your case for a reschedule.
