i am investor in a fund since 2021 and got our residency cards in Oct 24 and mar 25 (main application and dependents respectively), but we have never had any sort of login to any aima portal. Is this normal? all the updates we get come from our attorney in portual. Can we register ourserlf to the AIMA portal and directly access our application online?
My dates are roughly similar to yours, and I started my application on (then - SEF) AIMA site myself, transferring an active application to my attorney later. This way we both had access to my case. It helped quite a bit during the long wait for the first cards issue.
However, if you already got your card, you probably won’t need the access to AIMA site going forward. Subsequent renewals will be through a different portal than the original application.
Also, the site is very poorly maintained in terms of, now fully obsolete, web technology on all three layers: front-end, back-end, and the database. It really is a rather limited tool.
