The Decreto n.º 17/XVII your GPT cites (or even Decreto n.º 18/XVII) are from January, right? Or maybe even what got partially shot-down by the TC last year? So they don’t include the past 3 months of haggling?

I thought ChatGPT was bad but Gemini seems to have gotten worse. I checked Claude and it only says that something has been submitted but cannot find the exact text. This is consistent with the news above from Espresso.
(I think Gemini looked at the news and then force hallucinated on the substitute text).

Thanks for this update. This is different than we have been hearing from other attorneys previously. They have said April 1st is scheduled for a debate on the bill’s principles but not a final vote.
I’m curious about those who might be interested in apply for citizenship early: would it be necessary to submit the application tomorrow (March 31) if a final vote is actually happening on April 1?
It takes at least few weeks between parliament passing it before it comes into effect. First has to be promulgated by the president etc

The inaccurate LLM stuff is really counterproductive, and I’d love it if people would just stop. AI translations are fine, but an awful lot of confusion is coming from stuff that is made up or speculative and presented as fact or real analysis.

LLMs are fantastic at confidently lying, and I personally would be very happy to see copy-paste jobs like that banned from this site. They really diminish the value of these threads.

Hi all, sorry about posting something with the incorrect president. Obviously I was just trying to be helpful. But looking beyond the name of the president to the important stuff did you find something wrong in the description of the process of what happens after legislation is voted through? That was the intention of the post - in response to someone asking if they needed to submit before the vote.
There’s already a site-wide policy against posting AI-generated content unless it’s explicitly marked according to the instructions. I never post AI stuff so I don’t keep the instructions ready at hand, but I’m sure that it’s easy enough to find.

The worst part for me is it’s 100 lines of slop to scroll through. If you have to query an AI, please tell it to summarize the result in 3-4 sentences and then verify those sentences are true before posting!
