Hi everyone,
I am a legacy real estate Golden Visa holder and recently received my renewed residence card. My card shows a D2-related category, while my wife’s renewed card shows “Familiar - AR Investimento”. Has anyone else seen this difference within the same family after renewal? Thanks a lot.
I am a legacy RE GV holder, primary has “ATIVIDADE EMPREENDEDORA” and family cards are “AUTORIZ. DE RESID. TEMPORARIA”. Previous cards used to be “Familiar - AR Investimento”. IMHO getting such a card now is slightly odd but should be fine, with no practical impact.
I still am having a problem with the contact us request status portal.
I renewed in person in 2025. At first when AIMA launched the status portal, it showed that the my card was approved (same day as the appointment in 2025).
Next it showed briefly the renewal application and a note that the application is under review.
Now the renewal from 2025 has completely disappeared and it only shows the original card info from 2021.
I assume the status portal is having some growing pains? Has anyone else found a solution for this?
I’ve tried entering the passport + first card, and the passport only. But neither display the current renewal status info.
Yeah, I got the same mess on one of my renewals from 2025. It fluctuates daily between ‘no data’ to showing the ‘approved’ status on the 1st card to then going further back in time to ‘under analysis’ status of the 1st card 
I think it’s best to be ignored for the time being.

I got some update from my lawyers, they say the AIMA tracker may or may not be correct, in a sense that ‘no data’ showing on the AIMA tracker does not mean anything as the process might as well have been completed and the card delivered, while the tracker may be showing nothing yet. So the tracker is less than reliable at the moment.
Lawyers received my new card yesterday- validity August 5, 2029. This week, they were suddenly able to submit two dependent renewal applications that had been blocked since April.

Since the new contactenos status portal doesn’t work for me (it shows very outdated information), is it a possible workaround to check the renewal portal issue for the renewal status? What I mean is that once the new renewal card is issued, will it auto update the details on the renewal portal so I can tell that the new card was issued?
Just to update on this thread - renewed cards safely received from my Oct-Nov 2025 appointments (i.e. old renewal process, in-person). Some even had NISS and SNS added (with some typos, but at least they tried, I give them that 
).
Tacit approval was obtained one month prior, but whether it made any difference no one can tell..

I renewed in person (lawyer went)in Jan 2026, still no news
October 2025 in-person Cascais renewal here with a Tactic approval, still there isnt any progress. Has anyone here gotten their cards who renewed at Cascais in-person?

Your process is currently under review, This is the message i saw today. I havent heard a single case of GV renewal gotten approved till date from Cascais office.
October 2025 should have been approved by May-June 2026.
I recommend you send your rep to the Unid. Apoio in Lisbon to enquire.
Same. Appt was in Lisbon 9 months ago this week.

Are you saying you actually sent your reps to Unid. Apoio, and they were told that Cascais did not do their job?
My lawyer says they have received cards for Nov 25 appointment last week. May be there is hope that ours will come in a month or two

Oct 25 appointment in Porto, approved Porto August 7, card held for pickup (no notice). Nov 25 appointment in Porto, approved Lisbon August 28, card in hand via CTT.
