Will banks/IRS accept address that is NON-CMRA but identified as commercial address?

The RDI (residential delivery indicator) is essentially USPS’ classification of whether the address is used for commercial or residential purposes. You can read more about the indicator here: I haven’t seen any examples of banks using this indicator when validating addresses, but you never know what the future holds.
