I just ran into the same issue with trying to pay the Analysis fee. The error from the bank says that there is an incorrect reference number or amount. It has been more than 48 hours since the DUC was issued.
I just emailed our attorney about this, but it sounds like these aren’t isolated incidents.
My lawyer is encountering the same issue, although I am on Stage 4 and completed my biometrics in Jan 2023 and just received final approval two weeks ago.
The website still says “Unable to Connect to Remote Server”, like it has every day this week and last week, meaning we cannot generate the DUC and therefore I cannot pay.
Edit: the error seems to have changed recently. It now gives the error “O Tipo de Receita inválido” instead of “Unable to Connect to Remote Server”.
"Yes, we have reported the issue to the immigration office and apparently this is a problem that is affecting everyone.
The immigration office is solving this with their IT Departments and have already clarified that the applications will not be affected and that the documents will remain valid while the problem is not resolved."
I appreciate how proactive and responsive our attorney is.
Does the “remain valid” promise extend to only situations where the DUC was issued but payment fails, or also situations where the DUC cannot be issued at all?
I see “Data limite para emissão do DUC 04-04-2025” but my lawyer and I get errors when trying to issue the DUC.
