AIMA Portal Error - Can't retrieve Golden Visa Analysis Payment Details

got a new DUC last friday. Was told by bank this morning that reference is incorrect again. anyone heard anything?

No, my lawyers even tried paying in person and they were told there is no process to pay in person either.

I just received my DUC, but it’s for an unusual amount, 3089.70 EUR.

Has anyone else seen this? I did a Fund investment in 2021 and biometrics in Jan 2023, and approved recently. This is my first ARI, not a renewal. I thought the initial ARIs were like 5812.12 EUR to 7730.11 EUR ?

Is this amount coming directly from AIMA, or did my lawyer possibly enter the wrong number when generating the DUC? I’m hoping the amount is set by AIMA directly. I don’t know how DUCs are generated so I don’t know if it asks my lawyer to specify anything like amount…

DUCs are generated by AIMA in terms of the amount in it.
There is no way to enter the amount manually by the applicant or their lawyer.

It doesn’t matter anyway. You will most likely get an error when you pay it and it will probably expire.

Our lawyers confirmed today morning that they were able to make the payment for the primary applicant:-)

For some reason only the lawyer can pay. When tried to do this via my one it returned the same error

Is your DUC still valid?

I asked my lawyer, below is her reply.

"The Duc“s that are working are related to the analysis fee (primary applicant, first stage of the process).

The Duc“s for the final approval the amount is still wrong and AIMA is still trying to resolve this matter.

I will get back to you when it“s resolved"

As I need to pay for my dependents, I will be waiting more :pensive:

It has been two days since the payment was made. The AIMA portal is still saying ā€œawaiting payment confirmationā€. Is that normal? When will it change?

Mine is the same. Let’s hope it moves to whatever the next stage is soon where I assume we will wait and wait again!

I am not sure if you have dependents but I do not think we can upload those documents until this changes?

Yes I do and we can’t process them until it changes (as per what I understand from my lawyer)

Documents refreshed in Feb 2025 for myself and spouse. Spouse DUC could not be issued, remote connection error issue. Monday received notice from lawyer that DUC issued. 618 euros transferred and given other posts about not be able to proceed past this point for spouse…but got a confirmation from lawyer today that the payment was submitted and the multibanco receipt shows the DUC reference so hopefully that means it went through….

I had the same, but if you use Linux fireforx borwser you can retrieve all the documents and get DUC

When we originally submitted it took 2 weeks before payment was acknowledged on the AIMA site.
