Went through search on a lot of threads on Family Reunification but nothing that exactly answered my situation. If it exists feel free to direct me to that thread and I will delete this one.
With the new process of only the Main Applicant getting a Biometrics followed at some later date with their dependents/other applicants. If the residency card comes for the Main Applicant, can they file a Family Reunification and then move to Portugal with their family and wait out until the biometrics/residency card?
ChatGPT is only so helpful. Said they could as long as Reunification application was submitted and if they outstay their tourist visa then they might have to camp out in the EU until the visa card arrives.
