I hope you are doing well in these challenging and uncertain times.

My name is Will and I live in the Puget Sound region in Washington state, USA. I am an indie novelist and my wife is a tech executive working for a company based in Luxembourg. We have two children, one in college and one in high school.

We have been considering the possibility of moving abroad for decades, and our interest level is rising fast. We expect to bring remote forms of employment & income with us wherever we choose. High quality of life, good healthcare, reasonable expenses, low crime, and ability to operate a business in the EU are big priorities.

That’s us, in a nutshell.

I appreciate the existence of this online community and will be stopping by often to absorb opinions. Cheers- Wm

Not sure where to start. I’m a french artist with a nomadic life since almost 20 years. More it goes, less I like the idea to feel bounded to anything though like many I have places I call home.
I think there is something wrong in the concept of borders. I think passport don’t mean anything although as every traveler I’m confronted to those who believe it does.
I’m really interested by the concept of Micronation and Temporary Autonomous Zone as defined by Hakim Bey.
My plan is to get a second nationality. To buy a boat, but through a third part as I don’t want to own much, at least, not what can be taking away from me. I’m also looking for little properties and lands to own around the world. I’m on limited budget but made it already to my 54 and through over 55 countries.
I need to improve and get more efficient. Get better at business and find more freedom.
I’m all ears and also glad to share my experience if needed.

Clarence here. Not so a nomad. Chanced upon this site as i am looking for the best banking solution for my current status. I am a singaporean, living and working in Japan. My main banking services are both in singapore and japan. Was wondering is there banking services like N25 or monzo that can track spending and all expenses and also includes the services like transferwise?

N25 are more of euro friendly and monzo are only meant for UK resident.

Any recommendation?

This is Ayse, not so a pure Nomadic yet but working on %100 remote projects for the last two years. I am currently resident in Turkey but also am an avid traveller.

After taking a break from my ten+ years corporate life, I have found it a bit difficult to go back to so just enjoying the highs of the location-independent life. I am an international recruiter/talent acquisition specialist mostly working for tech/product companies.

I have just figured this site somehow while browsing the internet for e-residency and relocation topics and seems like many positive as much as beneficial vibes here.

Having read about Istanbul and Cig Kofte fans was also such fun so far

Most recently, I have finished the book: The Only Woman in the Room - The Life of Hedy Kiesler being contributed at a great level to the foundation of Wi-fi Technology in history,
I love reading biography-type so my personal recommendation would go to “Mata-Hari” if you like the similar kinds as well…

I spend my time split between the Philippines, Bali and then another 15-20 countries per year. I have been a full time nomad since graduating university in 2017, but I was a part time nomad during my time in university, lol (hint: very bad attendance).

Whilst running and growing my marketing agency, I am also looking to plant as many ‘flags’ as I can, particularly by getting multiple passports and residencies, buying real estate in different countries, optimising my taxation, and generally traveling to new places, meeting new people and doing new things.

What makes me tick: travel, challenges, alcohol and party!

Favourite places: Bali for long term living, Philippines for islands and beaches, Hong Kong and Bangkok for amazing city life, Ibiza and Phuket for party, San Francisco for meeting interesting and weird people.

Recommend a book or podcast: sorry, I don’t read or listen to podcasts. But it was the 500 Startups podcast from around 10 years ago that first taught me about the world outside of my small home in the UK countryside.

A little about myself:
Landscape Architecture student in final year at UC Berkeley, but I consider myself a student for life

I love waterfalls, streams, ocean waves, etc. I imagine this will influence a lot of my future travel / where I plan to live / work after graduation

I am a sports enthusiast! I especially like activities I can do with other people, but it is also nice to find solitude in a morning run or through yoga.

The places I have traveled so far and loved are Molokai, HI and Barcelona, Spain. It is my lifelong dream to go to Iran, but it’s complicated.
