Hello everyone.
I have applied for the Portugal D7 Visa and got accepted. I’ve been living in Lisbon for 1 week but did not have my SEF appointment yet (It’s scheduled for the end of next month).
I’m now working on my Wife’s reunification papers. To avoid the long wait, she’s trying to apply for a Schengen Visa and then later apply for a reunification visa while already in Portugal.
I have a valid rental contract and she will obviously stay with me, but from my research, this needs an invitation letter officially attested to by the local municipality.
My question is kindly as follows:
Since I still don’t have my residence permit yet, can I send her an invitation letter or do I need to get my temporary residence permit issued to do this?
