Staggered Renewal Dates for Primary and Family Reunification Applicants

We’re now seeing family reunification appointments going out, many for a year+ after the primary applicant’s appointment.

Assuming all are issued, does that mean the renewal dates will be staggered by a year+?

It depends on card issuance dates. A lot of people who are getting dependent appointments don’t even have their card yet.

It seems logical that there would be a predictable, consistent timeline from biometrics to visa issuance but nothing about this is logical or predictable so it’s very much wait and see.

yes, each residency card has it’s own validity date, not related to any other persons.
