We have a Whatsapp group which has about 200 Turkish GV investors & their families. I collect timelines and updates from our users and make tables showing process of our investors in each 3 months periods. You know average wait time to card from first application is nearly 5 years and that’s why that kind of information can be useful.

Not Turkish… but we’re also early 2023 applicants with biometrics, waiting, waiting, waiting on our cards. I see we have lots of company in our AIMA misery
According to NomadGate database and our Turkish GV applicants database only around %10 of applicants who applied in 2023 got their cards until now (nearly all had lawcase). Most of 2023s are in step of “only main investor went biometrics appointment and dependents are waiting biometric appointment date”.
It is also interesting to see that there is a number of people in 2016 and 2017 who already applied for citizenship but still have not got the citizenship. I am curious when they applied for citizenship. From 2016 to 2026 is already 10 years.
Also, I wonder if there is any Turkish GV who also applied the GV PR or normal PR.
Most applied citizenship in 2023 or 2024. Currently citizenship applications are decided / finalized in 3 years. So in total with new laws you need to wait 5 years (waiting for first card) + 10 years + 3 years = 18 years to be citizen after first GV application.
Please note that also there are about 20 “early” citizenship applications in our group (before completing 5 years - to save from new law changes) I did not marked them as blue. They are mostly green.
I do not collect information for applying GV PR and I only collect stats for getting first biometric, first card and applying citizenship. Therefore I cannot know the ratio of people applied GV PR.
I am also interested in knowing if any tukish child applied for citizenship under Article 2 (via naturalised parents) and finally got the citizenship? It seems to me that Art 2 is another crazy battle of this century.
