So, this is a little weird. Applied for GV late July, just got biometrics appointment in February in Cascais! Click on address in letter, it takes me to Cascais,a small town in the Algarve. Plug the address into maps program and half the time it takes me to Cascais outside of Lisbon, half to the town in the Algarve! I am beyond confused. As they are 3-4 hours from each other, I definitely need to find which one!
Prefer the location that has an AIMA office.
All online maps (and paper maps for that matter) have flaws. Geocoding is fickle on maps; it works except when it doesn’t. Trust the map and the turn-by-turn instructions blindly at your peril.

congratulations on your appointment, I’d assume they mean the Cascais that’s a western suburb of Lisboa

It might help if you post the actual address listed in the letter.

If the address is R. da Misericórdia 1, 2750-642 Cascais, Portugal, then that is in Cascais west of Lisbon.

That is the one! Totally do not understand why clicking the link in the letter took us to the Cascais in Algarve! Thanks!
