I personally don’t intend to live in Malta for most of the year (like 99 % really) and I’m going to spend my days as a PT (and by that I don’t mean a personal trainer) only returning for short visits once a year.
Hi… I am looking at becoming an ordainary resident of Malta, but concerned at fulfilling the minimum stay of 183 days.You mentioned that you would not be there for most of the year and it would be good to know how that worked out for you and your residence permit.Just wondering if they are really sticky about the minimum stay.With the lack of passport control in the EU, it would be difficult for the authorities to keep tabs, but someone said they do so, through airline info.Any comments would be extremely useful.
