Anyway, I don’t see how it’s a sustainable business model to only charge $1 for a concierge level service. While it’s not the first service like this I’ve seen (I recall Flystein did a similar thing maybe a decade ago), others have charged much more.
Whether the service is legit or not, I cannot tell you. Some people are genuinely good at finding flight deals. Like those people that really know their way around ITA Matrix, knowing how to leverage fuel dumps, etc. For $1, why not give it a try and just cancel right away?
For the other service this Patreon seems to offer (a business class deal alert subscription), there are already quite a few of those available—some free, some freemium:
Luxury Flight Club’s paid plan offers the option to select departure regions and preferred alliance, making it worth it for some. The others tend to be a bit more all over the place (higher volume, but most of it isn’t relevant for wherever you’re based).
