Given the lengthy wait for the Portugal Golden Visa, I’ve explored other options to reside in Europe. Spain’s new digital nomad visa has an attractive tax incentive and looks to be easy to obtain.
The criteria to obtain the Spanish digital nomad visa require that you be a non-EU person. Does anyone know if the Portuguese resident card would disqualify you for this or other similarly qualified EU digital nomad visas?
I see language referring to both EU “persons” and EU citizens being precluded.
