Please check your cards when they are issued. My first one had one mistake and so was re-issued but the new card has THREE mistakes. Check carefully!!

Yeah, we had all sorts of issues with addresses on the first cards. Fortunately no one has ever cared enough to query. 
That’s great. Unfortunately my first card only had a one year validity (my partner had 2 years) so I couldn’t ignore it…
How did you get AIMA to fix it?
My lawyer is dealing with it. I think it will take a long time to fix .
Just curious, how long was it between your biometrics appointment and receiving your card?

Did I understand correctly that it took 7 months to reissue the new corrected card? Did you have to resubmit your biometrics to AIMA?
First (incorrect) card took 7 months. Second (also incorrect) card took several months too. I do not have a correct card yet.
