I am wondering if any other GV investors have had difficulties with Quantum Capital and the Blue Palace Hotel renovation in Lisbon. It has been nearly three years since I paid 350K euros and to date, I’ve not received my promised distribution and construction remains non-existent. I used a lawyer to help with the investment by the name of Ricardo Lauro. His office keeps saying that the money is coming but that never proves true. Has anyone else had any difficulty with this project, Quantum, or the lawyer? If so, I would appreciate any insight as I am considering available legal options. Thank you.
There is a private Quantum investors group here that you may want to join that has some updates. In short though, construction has begun on the Blue Palace, and the archaeological issues that the Evora project had now seems to be resolving. Also, the delayed payments seem to be gradually happening.
There is a Quantum Capital Group started on WhatsApp that has been very active with the Quantum happenings over the past couple weeks. The payment delays are a common theme, although it does seem some have been paid and many remain hopeful of the promise to pay.
Also, much discussion of two people that have recently visited the Blue Palace and met with Quantum; the short of it is progress and many remain hopeful. We recently received a progress update on the Carmo Convent project…delayed, but slow forward progress.
