Tax preparers in the US

Hello everyone - just started my Portuguese GV process in 2021. Prior to 2021 I did my taxes myslelf. I knew enough about US tax rules to take care of my own stuff. Now having investments and related expenses overseas, that’s not something I have any experience with. Do preparers such as H&R Block or Jackson Hewitt have the ability to navigate these things or do I need to find a more specialized tax preparer? What do some of you do?

So, if you’ve got any recos in Chicago, I’m all ears.

I will be looking for a tax preparer who does returns for expats since they have the experience with foreign accounts and they are used to doing everything virtually. I had an appt with a CPA at Greenback Tax Services and they seemed to get good reviews.
