Hi Anthony! What do you mean exactly by travel planning? If you’re talking about organizing your travels, then I’d say TripIt Pro all the way!
Or are you talking about apps to get inspiration for upcoming travels (e.g. where to go, what to see and do)? When researching specific places I often turn to WikiVoyage, in addition to the mandatory Googling around.
