Hello. We’ve applied for Portugal GV and while waiting, we visit our apartment from time to time. For US expats out there, we’re spending our second Thanksgiving near Obidos. Does anyone have a recommendation for accessible US Thanksgiving fare (that we can cook at home). Biggest issue is finding a turkey (or other similar fowl). We dined out last year but would like to stay in this year. Thanks.
Not that hard to buy a full turkey in PT, it is called Peru Interio usually a larger continente or a decent sized PingoDoce shall be able to sell them. If you are looking for a countryside big turkey, you can buy that online and shipped it to your address on an overnight express here:
