Visa for family at later stage

Hello,

Would it be possible to do the golden visa process for myself alone now and get Residence/citizenship for my wife and kid later ?

We don’t plan to move to Portugal anytime in the next few years, so additional time it would take is not a concern. TBH, at this point, this visa is more like an insurance. I am wondering how much would it cost extra financially later. We are non-eu.
