Hello Leonardo, were you able to send it with the new AIMA renewal form?

I think I was able. Anyway, in my country I just can access AIMA form website using a VPN from Portugal. Without VPN mostly AIMA services doesn’t work.

My lawyer is insisting that nothing like this will happen. I am wondering if she wants me to come in person for renewal of my GV so that she gets a higher fee!

Can you please share the email address where you sent your documents?

Where they ask for the “Número do Processo ARI” in the format of “99999/AAA/999/99” - is it the same number for the main applicant and all dependants?
The one found on the very first page of the SEF ARI portal?

Yes, but I don’t think it is working for dependents yet.

Hi, are there any people who have been able to get past this stage of request on the new Aima application?

Was any real estate investor able to send their documents?

I keep trying and I keep getting this error

Yes I was able to send. But not for my son (Family reunification).

A post was merged into an existing topic: What’s the potential impact of the 2025 Portuguese election on the Golden Visa program and pathway to citizenship?

I’ve invested through funds and my husband (family reunification) was not able to renew. Got the same error message “Business conditions have not been met. The referred card is not a valid card for ARI.”

How much are GV (housing) renewals costing at moment? I’ve seen differing reports. We’re in line for a permanent residency visa and have applied for citizenship, so debating whether we should renew GVs or wait. If it’s cheap, great, but if they’re 4k/ea, I’d rather wait if we can.

If you mean real estate as opposed to investments, they are renewing as D2s for under 200E for three years. You more or less have to do it.

When you say you are “in line for a permanent residency visa” (meaning permit), you need an appointment. Have you gotten one? We’ve been trying for 7 months.

Thank you. Yes for 200€ we should definitely do it! I didn’t know that, thanks!

Classic. Tried to submit several times on two different browsers - every time, I get an error saying that Recaptcha validation failed (but it’s never asked me to do a Recaptcha … so…).

Switched to Windows vs. Mac and it worked - no ReCaptcha error any more. Mine was submitted “with success” for my RE GV. Can’t submit family’s / spouse’s using my Número de Processo, and the format of theirs doesn’t work either. I read above that family reunification ones don’t work - seeing same thing here.

Once these are submitted, has anyone received an email with next steps / asking for payment? How long did it take? Thanks!

@elorimerlogin: I think for permanent residency you need to get appointment with IRN, not AIMA. I don’t know if I am correct but I heard from a friend.
