Yup can confirm as I was notified of my biometric appt by WhatsApp message a couple of days ago…lol…now the fun starts!
I resubmit my documents in april and I double checked with my lawyer he confirmed that they didn’t receive my appointment yet , so i am wondering if any one else still didn’t receive the appointment

More on Tommigun knowing a bit better than my lawyers: We were notified today by our attorneys that our residence cards have arrived! The cards were issued on October 31 for both me and my dependents, so about 150 days from our June 6 biometrics appointments.

Did anyone receive family biometric appointment, after wave of appointments for Main Applicant? Have not received biometric appointment for my family yet, whereas I have received biometric appointment for 16th Feb 2026! If anyone has received family appointment along with Main Applicant, then hope that my family also may get biometric appointment along with me!

Where was the June 6 biometrics appointment may I ask please?
I provided my new refreshed document on Jan 2025 and have a biometrics appointment on Feb 2026. What document i need to provide as fresh document with apostille during appointment or the previous document which are now year old is still valid and do not need to provide any new documents ? Any one can share their experience about document ?

I have just done biometrics and had to provide new criminal record check with apostille. They also asked proof of travel, for which they took copies of my passport pages.
Had you refreshed it earlier in the year and had to supply it again, or do you mean you had to bring in the original of the second submission?
Yes, I applied in Dec 22, refreshed in Feb 25, had appointment for Feb 26, primary applicant only no family members, but managed to move it to Madeira as I have no relation to mainland. Had to get another criminal check and have it apostilled.paid 6179.40 euros.
Would you be able to say what the proof of travel was for? Your travel to Portugal for the biometrics appointment?
I showed travel ticket(easyJet) and they wanted to see that I had been coming to Portugal more generally… I was not really expecting that but luckily I had stamps in my passport going back to 2021 as I had been a few times each year.

- You mentioned that your appointment was for Feb 2026. You were able to both change the location to Madeira as well as advance the appointment to now (presumably December 2025). How did you achieve this somewhat miraculous feat? Was it your lawyers, and what means of communication and reasoning did they use?

The post in question worried me but I was assured by my lawyer IAS that my refreshed documents were sufficient. And if they request new docs at my 1/29 appointment that I will be able to upload them after the fact. Fingers crossed

My Lawyer just told me she does not expect my husband and dependents to get their bio appointments soon. I have my bio appointment Feb. 13 (in the big dump of appointments for main applicants). Anyone else hearing anything one way or the other from their lawyers?
No official word from lawyer here, I am hoping they do all in one appointments-- do everyone at the main appointment. I have a feeling we are all guessing until the big appointments drop start occurring. Mine is Jan 13, so we shall see! I have 2 dependents, and we’ll all show up in Lisbon- barring further guidance.

Did you provide them a new police certificate with apostille? Or the old one from Jan?
A new one with Apostille .
My lawyer also said the same. Don’t expect AIMA to give appointments of dependants along with Main Applicant.
