So you are not in the right topic.
This topic is the ones whose biometrics are after 2025 Jan. These biometrics includes payments as well.
I have a theory but I am not sure about it.
I guess AIMA is not entering our information into system just because if they enters, it is triggering our card process. They could not find a way to halt our process and they found totally disregarding our applications in this way. If we can see our payments in the system, it means that they entered our information and process can continue. In order to stop our process AIMA just pile up our applications somewhere in their offices. They even can not see that our biometrics are done or not.
@Cemo - Sorry. I thought I was in the correct tabâŚoops.
While my dependent did complete biometrics (and paid in full April, 2025) to date he has not received his card and the payment does not appear to be processed.
Does anyone have any news on these cards?
My wife did her biometrics and paid in April 2025 and still no card.
Her status is still âapplication under analysisâ on the ari portal.
According to the spreadsheet, under the new process, about half of those who had biometrics in 25Q1 have recieved their cards. For Q2, it only appears about two out of twelve have received cards. No one from Q3 or Q4 have recieved cards.
Of course, this is a limited sample and requires individual updates. For example, I know of at least one board member who had a biometrics appointment in June and recieved cards in November. They may not have been on the spreadsheet or forgot to update. Also, there are individual circumstances that prevent extrapolation from each case (e.g. did they have a lawsuit, etc.).
Sorry I donât have clearer information - trust me, I wish I knew.
Thank you so much for the feedback! I Completely understand the lack of data, but this helps already. Atleast gives me some hope to say the least! Thank you for your time!!
May I ask what the general feeling is about a lawsuit against AIMA for those who completed biometrics 6 to 8 months ago, paid the fees, and have not received a card?
Are lawsuits still being ignored by AIMA?
Would be very interested in your opinions please.
